Pandamonium Stage concept

The concept is a sidescroller/platform action game with a heavy emphasis on weapons.  The weapons have alternate forms that you can activate by charging them up and activating different effects.  ex. he sword turns into a fire ax that lets out a huge explosive burn when struck.  The panda also duel wields the weapons, allowing unique gameplay using either a sword and a gun at once or just two guns if you feel like it. 

You go around a level, fighting experimental creatures like yourself before facing a "boss".  I was thinking all sorts of different creatures like cyborg gorillas wielding gattling guns or even the Loch Ness monster as a boss.  

Story:

Pandas were dangerously close to extinction, with only a handful left in captivity.   The main problem?  Pandas were weak and helpless.  A crack team of scientists attempted to fix this problem, and tried to give the remaining pandas the means to become strong and defend themselves.  However, they kind of went overboard and turned them into killer cyborg pandas.  

Now armed with cybernetic enhancements and top military grade weapons, the pandas broke out of the lab and wreaked havoc on the world.  After the White House fell the rest of the human population were slowly hunted to extinction.  The other experiments from the lab also broke free and have settled in the new world.  Velociraptors and cyber unicorns roamed the the bamboo forests that sprung from deserted cities.  

It has been 130 years since the Panda Uprising.  You play as "Lucky".  An forgotten experiment left in the ruins of the lab.  One day, a mysterious holographic AI of a human girl appears and activates you.  Lucky breaks out of his tube, and finds the penguin research team looking for him.  Testing out his new combat abilities, he destroys the penguins and breaks into the open world.  The AI now tells Lucky she activated him in hopes he will help revive the human race.  Hunt down the remaning humans?  Or help them overthrow the cyber pandas and restore the human race?  

Anyways I think it would be a fun game to do.  The story isn't serious at all, but I feel the gameplay could be really fun, especially if it could go to a mulitplayer platform.  I'm looking for programmers who might be willing to help get this off the ground.  The ultimate goal is to get enough to go to kickstarter maybe and getting a full game for release.  Anyways, please contact me if you're intrested.
