Description

First attempt at a basic run attack/smack.   Pretty much dashes and gives the enemy a good strong whack.  Might of made the swing a little too fast but I wanted it to seem like a strong impact....

anyways opinions/critiques and suggestions are appreciated as always to try to make this better.  

Edit:  crap just realized the legs are pretty jittery...gotta fix that

Other then that already stated jittery legs, this looks great!

The heavy handed movement looks great without it looking like he was a gorilla or something, which would seem just a little... chliche?

Possible ideas for you:

Nordic warrior: Nords (reality and fantasy) preferred heavy confrontation combat, namely because their natural size and reach allowed them to excel at it. So movements such as charging with emphasis on arms, in either wide sweeping powerful motions, or hard hitting 'ram' thrusts would have a great impact I think.

Jack: Jack from Tekken 2 has a general movement to him that speaks to both his heavy weight and his general 'I am a wall mother *****' so heavier movement with the legs with long stomping strides, as well as prominent emphasis on the chest as the 'wall' and the arms, rather the widely sweeping motions having hard hitting 'cold cock' hits or hammer like motions.

... this is just my 2 cents on it. I think you're doing fantastic work.
